Virus scare

I just wanted to make a comment on all the pandemic scare and news that is going on out there about this new virus. My son had just come down a couple weeks ago with the influenza b. I’ve kept him home from school. He is doing better but it did hit him hard. Mostly just made him really tired. And he was pretty healthy to start. I did not freak out about it cause that would not have helped. But one reminder is that everything the professionals are telling us to do health wise is the same things they have told you to do for colds and flu. Think about that.

One thing my knitting friends mentioned the other day about the concern of what to do if you are quarantined is for us that do crafts like knitting and crochet, we are set. We just work our crafts and it gives us more time to do that. I am not one to freak out when these things happen but that does not mean that I don’t take precautions either. I have been sanitizing around the house and doing everything else that I need to do for myself to stay healthy as well. Let’s just all remember that all we can do is what we can control. Take care of yourself, drink tons of water and take your vitamins, eat right, and wash your hands regularly. And in my case make more things cause that keeps my stress level down which in turn keeps me fighting anything that comes around. When you are stressed your immune system is taxed which makes you more susceptible to viruses. Let’s all relax and just try to take care of ourselves. Like the song says, don’t worry, be happy.

A beautiful sunset I saw when we were driving home a few days ago. Makes me happy.
